Terms of Service

Coaches For Everyone ("the platform") provides a marketplace connecting clients with independent professional coaches. We provide discovery, booking, and payment infrastructure. We are not a coaching company. Coaches on this platform are independent contractors, not employees or agents of Coaches For Everyone.

Important: Coaching is not therapy, counselling, psychotherapy, or medical treatment. Coaching is a forward-focused professional development relationship. If you are experiencing a mental health crisis, suicidal thoughts, or require clinical mental health support, please contact a licensed mental health professional or call emergency services.

• You must be 18 years or older to create an account, book a session, or apply as a coach
• You must provide accurate information when creating an account or booking a session
• One account per person — creating multiple accounts is prohibited
• Coaches must complete our verification process (identity, video review, and application) before their profile goes live. Verified status may be revoked if information is found to be inaccurate

When you book a session, you enter into a direct service agreement with the coach. Coaches For Everyone is not a party to that agreement. We facilitate the booking and payment as a technology intermediary.

Coaches are solely responsible for the content, quality, and conduct of their sessions. Coaches For Everyone does not review or endorse the content of individual coaching sessions.

All payments are processed by Stripe. By booking a paid session, you authorise the charge to your payment method.

A 10% platform fee is deducted from each paid booking. Coaches receive 90% of the session price via Stripe Connect, paid within 2 business days of a completed session.

Coaches must connect a Stripe account before receiving paid bookings. Coaches are responsible for any applicable taxes on their earnings.

• Client cancellations — cancellations made more than 24 hours before a scheduled session are eligible for a full refund. Cancellations within 24 hours are at the coach's discretion
• Coach cancellations — if a coach cancels a confirmed session, the client receives a full automatic refund
• No-shows — if a client does not attend a session without cancelling, no refund is issued. If a coach does not attend, the client receives a full refund
• Disputes — contact support@coachesforeveryone.com. We will review disputes and may issue refunds at our discretion. Our decision is final

By listing on Coaches For Everyone, coaches agree to:

• Complete the verification process honestly and provide accurate credentials
• Keep their profile, availability, and pricing accurate and up to date
• Not claim credentials, certifications, or qualifications they do not hold
• Conduct sessions professionally and in line with our Coach Code of Conduct
• Not provide medical diagnosis, psychiatric treatment, legal advice, or financial advice outside their verified scope of practice
• Refer clients to appropriate professional help when their needs fall outside coaching
• Maintain appropriate confidentiality for all client information

You may not use the platform to:

• Solicit clients to conduct sessions outside the platform to circumvent platform fees (this applies during the session relationship and for 12 months after)
• Share or disclose another user's private information without their consent
• Post false, misleading, or fabricated reviews
• Harass, threaten, abuse, or discriminate against any user
• Create fake accounts or misrepresent your identity
• Scrape, copy, or systematically collect platform data
• Use the platform for any purpose that is illegal in your jurisdiction

Violations may result in immediate account suspension, removal from the platform, and where appropriate, reporting to relevant authorities.

Coach profiles, bios, photos, and content remain the intellectual property of each coach. By posting content on the platform, coaches grant Coaches For Everyone a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide licence to display that content on the platform and in marketing materials promoting the coach's practice.

The Coaches For Everyone platform, design, code, and underlying technology are the property of Coaches For Everyone Ltd. You may not copy, reproduce, or create derivative works from any part of the platform.

Coaches For Everyone is not liable for: the quality or outcomes of coaching sessions; any damages arising from interactions between coaches and clients; coach conduct outside of our verified information; or any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages of any kind.

Our total liability to you is limited to the platform fees (10%) paid in the 12 months preceding the claim.

Some jurisdictions do not allow limitation of liability — in those jurisdictions, our liability is limited to the maximum extent permitted by law.

You may close your account at any time by emailing support@coachesforeveryone.com. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms without prior notice.

Upon termination, your profile is removed from public view. Booking records and financial data are retained as required by law.

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes that cannot be resolved through our support team will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales, except where applicable consumer protection law requires otherwise in your jurisdiction.

Note before launch: update this jurisdiction to match where Coaches For Everyone Ltd is incorporated. Have a qualified solicitor review these terms before your first live user.

We may update these terms. We will notify you by email at least 14 days before any material change takes effect. Continued use of the platform after that date constitutes acceptance. If you do not agree with the updated terms, you may close your account.
