1. Who we are

Coaches For Everyone ("we", "us", "our") operates the coaching marketplace at coachesforeveryone.com. We connect clients with independent professional coaches and provide the technology infrastructure for discovery, booking, and payment.

Data controller: Coaches For Everyone Ltd · privacy@coachesforeveryone.com

2. What we collect and why

From clients
  • Account information — name and email when you create an account or book a discovery call. Used to manage your bookings and send confirmations.
  • Booking data — session details, dates, and intake notes you provide at booking. Shared with your coach to help them prepare for your session. Never shared with third parties.
  • Payment information — processed entirely by Stripe. We never store card numbers, CVVs, or bank account details. We receive only a transaction confirmation.
  • Usage data — pages visited, search terms used, and interactions with coach profiles. Used to improve search quality and coach discovery. Not shared with advertisers.
From coaches
  • Application data — name, email, video introduction, social links, and written application answers. Used to verify your identity and create your profile.
  • Identity verification data — your government ID is processed by Stripe Identity. We receive only a pass/fail result and the verified name. We never store a copy of your ID document.
  • Profile content — bio, photo, certifications, availability, and session pricing. Displayed publicly on your profile page.
  • Payout information — your Stripe Connect account is managed by Stripe. We store your Stripe account ID to route payments. Your bank details are stored by Stripe, not by us.

3. What we do not do — ever

We do not sell, share, rent, or monetise your personal data with advertisers, data brokers, or third-party marketing companies.

We do not use your data to train AI models — ours or anyone else's.

We do not use Facebook Pixel, TikTok Pixel, Google Ads tracking, or any advertising-network tracking on this platform.

We do not share private session notes, intake responses, or coaching conversation content with anyone outside the coach–client relationship.

This is a firm policy, not a preference. It is how we have built this platform from day one.

4. Legal basis for processing (GDPR)

Where GDPR applies, we rely on the following legal bases:

  • Contract — processing necessary to provide the service you have requested (booking sessions, processing payments, maintaining your account).
  • Legitimate interests — platform security, fraud prevention, abuse detection, and improving the quality of the service.
  • Consent — for any marketing or non-essential communications. You may withdraw consent at any time by unsubscribing or emailing us.
  • Legal obligation — financial records retained for 7 years as required by tax and accounting law.

5. Third-party services we use

We use the following services to operate the platform. Each has been chosen for its data practices:

  • Stripe — payment processing and identity verification. Stripe Privacy Policy
  • Supabase — database and file storage. Data hosted on AWS infrastructure in the US and EU. Supabase Privacy Policy
  • Resend — transactional email delivery (booking confirmations, reminders, account notifications).
  • Vercel — website hosting and edge delivery. Vercel Privacy Policy

We do not use: Google Analytics, Mixpanel, Amplitude, Hotjar, Segment, Intercom, or any other analytics or customer data platform that shares data with third parties.

6. Your rights

Depending on your location, you have some or all of the following rights:

  • Access — request a copy of the personal data we hold about you
  • Correction — request that inaccurate data be corrected

  • Portability — receive your data in a machine-readable format
  • Objection — object to processing based on legitimate interests
  • Restriction — request that we limit how we process your data
  • Complaint — lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority (e.g., the ICO in the UK, the DPC in Ireland)

To exercise any right, email privacy@coachesforeveryone.com. We will respond within 30 days.

7. Data retention

  • Account data is retained for as long as your account is active
  • Booking and financial records are retained for 7 years (legal requirement)
  • Application data is retained for 3 years after submission
  • Marketing data is retained until you unsubscribe

You may request deletion of your personal data at any time. We will delete all data not required for legal compliance within 30 days of your request.

8. Cookies

We use essential session cookies only. We do not use advertising or third-party tracking cookies. See our Cookie Policy for the complete list.
