What is health & wellness?

Health and wellness coaching helps you build sustainable habits around the things that most affect how you feel, energy, sleep, nutrition, movement, stress, and mental wellbeing. It's practical, personalised, and grounded in what actually works for your life.

In a health coaching session, your coach starts by understanding your current situation, your goals, and what has and hasn't worked before. Together you build a plan that's ambitious enough to make a real difference and realistic enough to stick to. Sessions are usually 45–60 minutes, often weekly to start. Between sessions, your coach may send check-ins, resources, or habit-tracking prompts to keep momentum going.

Health coaching works for people who know roughly what they should be doing but struggle to do it consistently. It works for people rebuilding after burnout, illness, or a health scare. It works for people who have tried every programme and find that accountability and personalisation are the missing pieces. And it works for people who simply want to feel more alive, more energetic, and more at home in their body.

Real change in health and wellness is rarely about information, most people know what would help. It's about structure, accountability, and having someone who genuinely cares about your progress. Clients who work with a health coach consistently report more consistent sleep, better energy through the day, improved relationship with food, reduced stress, and a sense of control over their health that they hadn't had before.

1.What area of health do you specialise in and do you have relevant certifications?

Frequently asked questions

What's the difference between a health coach and a doctor or dietitian?

Health coaches focus on behaviour change, habits, mindset and lifestyle, they help you build and sustain the practices that support wellbeing. They don't diagnose, prescribe, or replace medical care. A good coach will always encourage you to work with your medical team for any clinical concerns.

Do I need to be in poor health to benefit?

Not at all. Many health coaching clients are already reasonably healthy and want to optimise, better energy, better sleep, better stress management. Others are managing chronic conditions and want practical daily support. Health coaching covers a huge spectrum.

How is health coaching different from a fitness app?

The main difference is the human relationship. Apps track and prompt. A coach listens, adapts, challenges, and supports, they notice when you're struggling, help you understand why, and adjust the approach. The personalisation and accountability of a real coaching relationship drives significantly better outcomes.

What certifications should I look for?

The National Board for Health and Wellness Coaching (NBHWC) is the most rigorous certification for health coaches. The Institute for Integrative Nutrition (IIN) and Precision Nutrition are also well-respected. These are displayed on each coach's profile and verified by our team.
